Let's get the truth out of the way right now.
I caught NO WHITE BASS.
Ok now for all the fishermen's excuses:
1) Flow was too low
2) The river was heavily fished by other people who got to the park sooner then myself.
3) Due to isolation from the lake below the park because of low water for the last couple years white bass populations are dwindling. (A wet year would allow them to recover).
Ok well I did have some success with Guadalupe bass and Longear sunfish. The good old Clouser minnow (olive over white over blue variant) was my saving grace.
